Stacy D. Kucharczk, MSN, RN,CPNP, IBCLC
Stacy has been a Registered Nurse since 1986 and a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 12 years. In 2007, after working with many mothers and their breastfeeding babies, Stacy met the stringent criteria required to

sit for the exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Of the 2,152 first-time examinees on the 2007 international exam, Stacy received the highest score in the world.  A career-long dream was realized when Stacy opened her practice, BestFeeding Lactation Services, LLC, in the fall of 2007.

Stacy is married to Daniel and is the mother of two children, Chloe, born in 2001, and Logan, born in 2003.

With her daughter, Stacy experienced first-hand the challenges and anguish that occurs with a baby who resists breastfeeding.  However, with perserverence and the help of several lactation consultants, she overcame a rocky start and went on to enjoy a wonderful breastfeeding relationship that lasted 1½ years. On the other hand, her son breastfed like a champ within minutes of birth and self-weaned when he was 20 months old.

His clinical interest is helping babies with breastfeeding difficulties. This desire stems from personal experiences, as both the Ghaheris' daughters had significant problems breastfeeding.
